The College proposes to have external linkages with industry, community as well as other colleges, Universities, Management and technical institutes of excellence in the region and all over the country to promote skill-based learning, primary research, value edition to the industry and society at large. The student participation along with the faculty will inculcate the ability to implement theories into practice as well as simulate the wholesome growth of students. These projects will expose the students to the real world of industry and corporate so that the learning becomes focused and they become more industry savvy. These students will be able to contribute to the industry from the day one of their joining the same.
Linkages with Industry Every year our students will visit the plant for in-plant training to carry out internships, prepare project report as a part of their curriculum and also go through industry mentorship program. Students will be groomed as per the future requirement of industries of varied nature. We would also explore various options of students’ engagement program (with/without stipend) for helping them getting some financial support as well as to gain industry exposure. We would also invite industry experts for guest lecture sessions, consultancy tie ups, FDPs, MDPs etc.
Linkages with other Institutes: We cannot prosper in isolation. In West Bengal there are 43 Universities and numerous numbers of Research Institutes, Technical colleges. For carrying out futuristic research in collaborative mode, to enrich ourselves with the recent developments and to foster entrepreneurship we need to have close connection for future endeavor.
Linkages with the Community: Our NSS and NCC Units will do Special camps at different village to render service to the community. We are going to have various outreach programs to as to inculcate the social values and ethos. Through various kinds of social welfare programs student would also learn the necessities of the immediate society which they may take up as their future career venture. We would also carry out different programs entailing to health checkups, basic medical support etc.
