Programme Objective:
The objective of BCA programme is to create computer applications professionals with human and social values to make the future world. This program aims to prepare young minds for the various opportunities in IT sectors both in public and private in India and abroad by nurturing and grasping all the essential skills to meet the expectation of IT industry through innovation and feedback based learning system. This programme will help the learners to enhance their analytical, communication and presentation skills, team building skills and also will help then to enhance their self-confidence and personality.
Career Prospect:
After completion of BCA degree, the aspirant can work for IT industry as a software developer/IT support services/we developer/data analyst etc, pursue higher studies in computer applications or management, can be an entrepreneur or prepare for various jobs in banks/PSUs/Govt sector etc.

Eligibility:
The applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary or its Equivalent (10+2) Examination from a recognized Board / Council.
Candidates applying for admission to BCA should have English, Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Informatics Practice as two of the subjects with pass marks at the 10+2 level.
Common Admission Tests (CET)
Admission to Non-AICTE professional courses (UG, PG) of MAKAUT, WB is made through Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University.

BBA in Hospital Management
Objective: Hospital Management is related to various aspects such as purchase of equipment, human resource, and promotion of health services, economic planning, and budget allocation for hospital services.
The hospital industry in India is accounting for 80% of the total healthcare market and is witnessing a huge investor demand from both global as well as domestic investors. The course BBA-Hospital management is a three-year full-time programme wherein the students get to know on how a hospital operates and the role of Administration in hospital and allied health services. BBA in Hospital Management course covers general management subjects. Along with them, the course also covers subjects related to the field of healthcare and hospital management.
The students in the BBA-Hospital Management program would have to undergo a rigorous academic engagement with parallel exposure to hospitals for real time situational learning. The students would be able to comfortably work on health care delivery systems along with the associated legal and regulatory environmental factors. The course makes the students ready to handle managerial positions with the capacity of assessing current needs and recommending appropriate solutions. This course also prepares the students to demonstrate leadership skills and face challenges of the dynamic nature of health care administration.
Hospital Visits: The students would be taken to hospital visits for them to understand the actual environment of a hospital. Its functional areas and level of knowledge and skill required would be briefed and explained by the hospital staffs during the visits.
Teaching Pedagogy: The teaching pedagogy has been designed to facilitate the students with more and more exposure to real time situations in hospitals. The students are facilitated with management learning along with tertiary health care learning.
Patient Care Management: Since hospital houses patients who are already in a lot of stress, pain and trauma, the students are taught to handle such sensitive environment with a lot of humanity and empathy.

Objective: BBA program aims at providing fundamental education to students in the field of business principles.
